Scrappy Christmas In July | December Daily 2019 Days 09 Thru 11
Hi everyone and welcome back to Scrappy Christmas In July! Today I am sharing Days 9 through 11 in my December Daily with you. I had already done the foundation pages for these days, which looked like this.
Some of my pages got a little mixed up in the process of creating some of my pages back in December! I made some of my pages for the Clique Kits classroom which left some pages in a different place than originally planned. When I went back to print photos, I then assigned the days according to the photos I had. Making foundation pages means being able to be flexible and move things around, and that’s a good thing!
So here is Day 9, which is 4 3×4 pockets and the transparency divider. I used all Elle’s Studio products plus the Ali Edwards number stamp set. All I had to do to finish this page was select a journal card for my number and write my journaling. My story is our cute Nico, who suddenly decided he needed to come sit on the bed. He typically keeps to himself and never gets on the bed! I added a very simple word sticker to his photo, and stamped the number 9 into the frame on the red card. So quick!
Turning the transparency is Day 10. I had the two 3×4 cards already made, and just printed my photo for the day. We were having several days of dreary, grey skies, lots of rain that just seemed to go on and on. I added the circle label to the bottom of the photo to note the day, and added my journaling real quick. I absolutely love how quickly these pages come together when you’ve done your homework, aka foundation pages. Everything falls into place so quickly.
Day 11 came out completely different than I thought! I was going to include a photo of our plate rack (you can see it in the background here) but then I couldn’t find where I had taken any photos of it! Ha! I did, however, find this photo that my husband had taken at the dinner table. I decided to make this page about seeing a different perspective, as this is what he sees at dinner every night. Love it! I added the number 11 to the card for my date, and then wrote my journaling on the red card to complete the page.
